I was just watching the replay of Inter Milan vs Tottenham Hotspur in the champions league 2 months ago. Gareth Bale makes one of the best right backs in the world look like he should think about retiring. Amazing speed, but apparently Bale has admitted that Theo Walcott of Arsenal is faster than him.

I believe Bale is a tremendous young talent. And best of all I think he is from Wales and cannot play for the Englanders. Theo Walcott can. Too bad they cannot play on the same national team.
I hope Dieter makes it to the Club BBQ today.
With over 70 people coming it should be a fun time.

Well done, lads, vs the Claremont boys yesterday. To be truthful, the game could have swung either way, but in the end, the OWFVers came out on top. Even Brooksie the Ref did a pretty good job, although one person might disagree…… Good day at the pub as well.

Just making a small comment on the 4-0-1 record last year. The Czechs brought their young team, and beat us by a fairly large margin. I forget the score. 5-1, or something? And then on top of that we lost to Jim Killy’s team 4-2. Apparently the Emperor forgot about those games.
I’m trying to remember the four wins. There was that one against the Claremont team, and then I think there was one against the old man’s team that went to Hawaii. What were the other two?
